Cookie Policy

What gets stored on your device, by whom, and how to turn it off.

A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store. Related technologies — local storage, pixels, device identifiers — work similarly. This page explains what this site uses and how to control it.

Strictly necessary

These are required for the site to work and cannot be switched off.

  • vespaio_consent_v1 (local storage, first-party, persistent until you clear it) — records whether you accepted or rejected non-essential cookies, so the banner does not reappear on every page. It contains only the words "accepted" or "rejected".
  • Any security or load-balancing cookie set by our hosting provider for the duration of your visit.

Advertising (set only with your consent)

This site is funded by Google AdSense. When you accept, Google and its advertising partners may set cookies and read device identifiers to:

  • measure how many people see and interact with an ad, and prevent the same ad repeating endlessly;
  • detect and prevent click fraud;
  • select ads based on your previous browsing, where personalisation is permitted.

Typical examples include Google's __gads, __gpi and IDE cookies. The precise set depends on Google's own configuration and can change without notice, which is why we describe them by purpose rather than maintaining a list that would quickly go stale.

Analytics (set only with your consent)

If aggregate page-view measurement is in use, it sits behind the same consent gate and is never used to identify individual visitors.

Consent Mode v2

Before you make a choice, this site instructs Google to treat ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization and analytics_storage as denied. Only when you press "Accept all" are those updated to granted. Choosing "Reject non-essential" leaves them denied; you will still see advertising, but it will be non-personalised.

Changing your mind

Browser controls

Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies, usually under Settings → Privacy. Blocking all cookies may break parts of this and other websites. Browser-level signals such as Global Privacy Control are honoured where applicable law requires it.
